Keith Murray has claimed he was intimate with Foxy Brown back in the day, at a time when she was still dating West Coast rapper Kurupt.

In an interview with The Art of Dialogue, the Lyrical Lexicon shed some light on his personal relationship with the Brooklyn rapper. According to the New York native, he always saw her around the way, and he never wasted an opportunity to try and be her boyfriend.

Years later, at the House of Blues in Los Angeles, Murray had a performance alongside his Def Squad brethren Erick Sermon and Redman, and he said things got a little hot between him and Foxy afterward. At the time, Foxy was in a relationship with Kurupt — with whom she was also engaged to — but Murray couldn’t recall if they were actually together.

“We rocked hardcore, went into the hotel and she gave me hardcore head,” Murray said as he acted out his reaction to Brown allegedly giving him oral sex. “I ate her pussy but I never fucked her and then she was with Kurupt at the time, so we was coming out of the hotel after she gave me head and we was coming and Kurupt was coming.”

Murray said it clicked in his head that Foxy was allegedly trying to pit two rappers against each other, especially when the industry was coming off the deadly East Coast-West Coast beef from the mid-’90s. He then claimed he spun away from Foxy as she embraced Kurupt and went on their way.

The Def Squad rapper then hinted at DMX having relations with her one night after a performance at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York, before going back into all the times he hooked up with Foxy despite her “marriage” to Kurupt.

“That’s when I knew females are no fucking good,” Murray said. “She’s a main artist, wopping me off, married to this dude. But I don’t know if they were married at that time. It was around that era and they was beefing with the other girl Kurupt was with at that time. Word.”

He continued: “Could you imagine your wife a rapper wopping off a n-gga and then walking. She was trying to use me. It could have been guns popping that night in there in that lobby.”

Keith Murray ended his story by explaining Foxy Brown could “suck a nickle through a straw.”

In 1995, Foxy Brown and Keith Murray joined forces on LL COOL J’s “I Shot Ya” remix, which also features Fat Joe and Prodigy of Mobb Deep. The song features on LL’s Mr. Smith album which peaked at No. 4 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and No. 20 on the Billboard 200.

Nicki Minaj recently spoke on Foxy Brown during a conversation with i-D and revealed she was a major influence on her.

“I still probably at times sound similar to her,” Nicki said. “I would listen to this woman non-stop. Finding out she was from Trinidad was so freaking amazing to me, because I never imagined that a rapper could be from my country.

She added: “She’s so precise with her delivery, and so clear. And I really love clarity in raps.”
