Kanye’s Passion of the Christ

When Kanye West made Jesus Walks, who knew he’d end up posing like Jesus?

Check out the new Rolling Stone and you’ll find Kanye dressed up as the religious icon (with a crown of thorns and all) for the magazine’s pages. The rapper goes on to dress up as a boxing hero, Muhammad Ali, as well.

During the interview, Kanye voices his opinion on how people view him and takes shots at those who feel he is arrogant when he claims he is great.

“In America, they want you to accomplish these great feats, to pull off these David Copperfield-type stunts,” he claimed. “You want me to be great, but you don’t ever want me to say I’m great?”

The rapper also speaks on what many deemed the most controversial statement of last year, when he criticized the President for not caring about black people.

“If I was more complacent and I let things slide, my life would be easier, but you all wouldn’t be as entertained…My misery is your pleasure,” he says.

According to sources, West also discusses a life-long obsession with pornography. Apparently, his fascination dates back to when he was five years old, when he found a Playboy magazine from his father’s collection.

“Right then,” he says. “It was like, `Houston, we have a problem.'”
The rapper is nominated for eight Grammy. He’s up for various awards, including “Album of the Year” for Late Registration.
