Fans of Kanye West have a lot to look forward to, as the rapper and producer is now going to release a sixth solo album after his previously-announced album with the G.O.O.D. Music roster, Cruel Summer.
Def Jam VP and storied producer No I.D. announced the project to MTV News. “He’s coming right after that,” said the Chicago producer at the ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Music Awards in Los Angeles.
“I’m not working on that [Cruel Summer] album, I’m working on his album,” explained No I.D., who collaborated with Kanye on Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 album. “This is Kanye. You know what to expect from the family. He hasn’t missed yet, so don’t expect him to miss.”
It’s what you expect and everything you don’t expect,” added No I.D., vaguely.

people only think of sh-t like Love Lockdown or Amazing on that album but there’s so much emotion on a lot of the other tracks. Listen to Coldest Winter or Bad News and tell me thats not dope.

I wouldnt say an album but I wouldn’t say he have up on it. He put out the latest CRS track last year, even tho it was old but still under heard to us.
I hope he handles all of the production himself I wanna see him go back to the The College Dropout/Late Registration days for an album… I know he has to evolve as an artist but there would be no halting his career if he did that.
Man, Late Reg is one of my favourite albums of all time IMO it was Kanye in his prime, he still had the raw tracks and the hunger to succeed. I believe those days are past him now, but it would be mad nice to hear 20 tracks completely produced by Ye.
On a side note: I miss those skits that he did on his first 2 LPs. They added so much character/depth and hilarity to those albums.
