Kanye West was allegedly kicked out of Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas by Taylor Swift, according to former NFL player Brandon Marshall.

Marshall made the claim on the Paper Route podcast, where he said Ye had bought a ticket directly in front of Swift’s booth, enraging the pop star.

“Kanye West pulls up to Vegas. Kanye West buys a ticket to right in front of Katy Perry’s booth, so any time they were going to be showing Katy Perry, Kanye’s face was going to be there,” the former Denver Bronco said.

Marshall then realized he had mistaken Perry for Taylor Swift, who was famously interrupted by West at the 2009 MTV VMAs and has had a complicated relationship with the rapper ever since.

“He’s got a mask on with his logo on the mask — typical Kanye,” he continued. “Taylor Swift gets pissed off, she boom boom makes a call or two. Everybody’s involved. He gets kicked out the stadium!

“He was trying to leverage her celebrity … That’s what he tried to do; he tried to sit in front of Taylor Swift.”

Despite Marshall’s claims, Kanye West was seen several times inside Allegiant Stadium to watch the Super Bowl, at one point linking up with Ty Dolla $ign and Anderson. Paak in a luxury suite.

In a clip of Kanye hanging out with the Silk Sonic star, the TV in the background shows the game is already in the third quarter so if West was removed from the stadium, it was late in the game.

As well as attending the Super Bowl, Kanye also paid for a commercial during the big game though it was very low-budget as the rapper and fashion mogul spent the budget on purchasing the ad slot, which costs around $7 million.

The commercial, which is believed to have aired in Chicago and Miami only, saw West filming himself with his phone and talking to the camera while plugging his new sneakers.

“Aye y’all, this Ye, and this is my commercial. And since we spent all the money on the commercial spot, we actually didn’t spend any money on the actual commercial,” he says.

“But the idea is: I want you to go to Yeezy.com — Y-E-E-Z-Y dot com; I’ma write it at the bottom of the screen — and I got some shoes aaaand mmmmm… that’s it.”

The advert appeared to be for the Yeezy Pod, a sock-like shoe that was unveiled in December.

The shoe originally retailed for $200 but all items on the Yeezy website — including merch for his new album with Ty Dolla $ign, Vultures 1 — have since been reduced to $20.
