Kanye West‘s genius comes from having the “soul” of a white autistic person, according to white nationalist Nick Fuentes.
The 25-year-old, who’s known for his right-wing live streams and marching in 2017’s deadly “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, was previously a member of Ye’s team when the latter was considering running for president in the 2024 election.

During a Rumble livestream on Thursday (April 18) with fellow internet personality Sneako, he claimed that the Chicago native would “tone up” his Blackness around other Black people, but that he’s really just an art-lover who was raised by a college professor. His genius, according to Fuentes, traces back to white-coded autism.
“He would have to kind of tone up the Blackness when he was with other Black people. I noticed this,” he said. “When he was with the Black people, he would kind of tone up how Black he was acting.

“When he knew he was safe, when he knew it was a judgement-free zone and he could be himself, that’s when he realized his mom was a professor. And he didn’t come from Chicago, he came from Hyde Park. Big difference.
He concluded: “He came from the campus of University of Chicago. He liked art, he liked poetry. You know, he’s like a white autist in many ways. He’s got the soul of a white autist. That’s what fuels his genius; not playing into this gang banger, ‘I fucked your bitch’ whatever.”
Fuentes is the host of right-wing online show America First, though he first became famous back in 2020, when he helped lead Trump’s “Stop the Steal” movement that aimed to overturn his failed bid for the United States presidency. In a Facebook post from 2017, he asserted that a “tidal wave of white identity” was soon to come despite all the pushback he received for his racist views.
“You can call us racists, white supremacists, Nazis, & bigots,” he wrote. “You can disavow us on social media from your cushy Campus Reform job. But you will not replace us.
“The rootless transnational elite knows that a tidal wave of white identity is coming. And they know that once the word gets out, they will not be able to stop us. The fire rises!”
He also dropped the n-word during an episode of America First in 2022, saying Steve Bannon (who he also called a “fat retard”) is trying to “flood the zone with [n-gger] votes.”

As for Kanye West, he previously revealed that he does have autism, though he blames it on the 2002 car accident that famously left him with his jaw wired shut. It is important to note that people are born with autism and it is impossible for the neurological disorder to be triggered by a vehicular mishap.
