Kanye West has parted ways with longtime chief of staff Milo Yiannopoulos due to the alt-right figure’s opposition to Yeezy Porn.

TMZ reported the split on Wednesday (May 15), sharing a statement from Milo that read, in part, “I wish Ye every success in the future. I have some concerns about his new team, and hope he proceeds with caution.”

The controversial figure first expressed his concerns with Yeezy Porn earlier this month. Yiannopoulos described the move as dangerous to his “spiritual and physical health,” citing his past homosexuality and addiction struggles.

“I cannot be complicit in the production or dissemination of pornographic films and literature, for moral and religious reasons,” he wrote at the time.

“But also, because such material and the kind of people invariably involved in its production represent an imminent danger to my life as a recovering addict and an unacceptable risk to my spiritual and physical health as a former homosexual.”

The resignation was part of a “mass exodus at the company,” according to the outlet.

News of Kanye West launching his own adult entertainment company first surfaced in April.

At the time, Ye announced that the proposed adult film studio would be part of “a broader adult entertainment division” in his existing Yeezy empire.

Kanye was also reportedly in talks with Mike Moz, the ex-husband of adult film star Stormy Daniels who is a veteran in the business himself, to help him get the brand up and running.

Just after the report was published, Kanye seemed to confirm the news with a short video clip that read the date “4 24 24” and a succinct message against a plain white background: “YEEZY PORN IS CUMMING.”

The video’s voiceover featured a woman directing viewers to his website, but there was nothing besides Yeezy clothing items.

The announcement was met with an overwhelmingly negative reaction, with many fans telling him to “return to Christ,” and similar religious exhortations.

His account was deactivated shortly after, though the reason behind the deactivation remains unclear.

Despite Milo’s resignation, the idea of Yeezy Porn may have already been abandoned by the embattled rapper.

Last week, West seemingly aborted his plan to open a pornography division of his Yeezy brand.

As pointed out by Kurrco, all posts related to the announcement of Yeezy Porn were scrubbed from Ye’s X (formerly Twitter) account and YouTube page.
