Kanye West has claimed that his Instagram has been hacked after he entered the cryptocurrency business.
West recently announced the official launch of YZY Money but the controversial rapper took to X to say that his Instagram had been compromised and was touting the wrong coin.
He wrote: “My Instagram has been hacked and it’s following a fake coin. The official project is @YZY_MNY.”
West’s Instagram currently follows an account called yzytkn as well as his wife Bianca Censori.

On the music front, Freddie Gibbs recently claimed that West was jealous of his verse on Vultures 1 song “Back to Me”.
Speaking on the Butcher Block podcast, Gibbs said West was resentful that people thought he had the best verse on the divisive project.
He explained: “This n-gga Kanye was mad about that shit. That n-gga was telling n-ggas like, ‘Man, how the fuck this n-gga think his verse is the best on my album?’”
Gibbs added: “When I sent it to him, I sent it to him thinking that, with the premise, he’d be proud of me. ‘Cause I look up to you. So I would think that, I rapped on your album, and people talking about it like this, you would think that a n-gga like you would be proud of me. That pissed him off.”
He concluded by saying: “A lot of that shit was a slap in the face. I’m putting my shit on pause to be on Vultures bitch ass n-gga. I could be recording Alfredo 2. I put a lot of shit on hold to come to Italy to work with you and for you to shit on some of my best work ’cause you mad ’cause n-ggas saying it’s better, you know what I’m saying?”
Kanye has been quiet on the music front of late but did recently drop a trailer for his documentary In Whose Name?
The film, directed by teenager Nico Ballesteros, was shot over the last six years of West’s life and covers the multitude of controversial events from that time period including his divorce from Kim Kardashian, antisemitic rants and bizarre public behavior.
In Whose Name? is currently scheduled to premiere on September 19 and will play nationwide in cinemas.
