Justin Timberlake Addresses Kanye West Jab On “Saturday Night Live”

Kanye West ruffled some feathers when he paused a performance to state, “I got love for Hov but I ain’t fuckin’ with that ‘Suit & Tie,'” interpreted as a diss towards Justin Timberlake’s smash single “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay-Z.

JT fired back at ‘Ye during his performance on “Saturday Night Live” this past weekend, swapping out the line “Shit’s so sick, got a hit and picked up a habit” for “My hit’s so sick, got rappers acting dramatic.”

During a weeklong appearance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” the former boy band member jokingly clarified the dig, playing dumb but expressing love for the G.O.O.D. Music rapper.

“Did it seem that way? I don’t remember that. Did I change the line? It is live,” he said. “You know, really, everyone, keep calm. Keep calm.

“Let me just say, for the record, I absolutely love Kanye,” he added. “So there’s that. We love Kanye, right?

Timberlake is currently prepping the release of his third solo album The 20/20 Experience, dropping March 19th. Listen to the album in full here.

    1. My biggest inspiration and biggest competition is Justin Timberlake, West told hip-hop magazine XXL.

He is the only other person that gets an across-the-board response and respect both on black radio and white radio.

West says he and Timberlake are on a different level to everyone else and has compared their healthy rivalry to Prince and Michael Jacksons chart battle in the 80s.

He added: If Justin hadnt come out and killed the game, I cant say that my album, singles and videos would be on the same level that theyre on. We push each other. I look at me and Justin like Prince and Michael Jackson in their day.

    2. “fired back” FUCK YOU HHDX, STOP TRYING TO CREATE CONTROVERSY SO YOU GET VIEWS AND ADVERTISING MONEY. FUCK YOU

      1. itd prob be better if kayne didnt rant like a little bitch all the time, his mood swings even worse that his baby momma. this dude kayne fell from grace w all that drama and bitch shit

      1. It has to do with Kanye West, he is a famous rapper and grammy winner. He came out with a classic “hip hop” album… The College Dropout

I comment timberlake for taking the high road. It is clear that the line was for Kanye but doesnt want to start a lame feud. Kanye said his piece and justin responded.

    3. During our “Most Embarrassing” album discussion, someone brought up buying a Justin Timberlake album. Nay good sir, I say be proud about listening to JT! As fucking unlikely as it once seemed, the man has morphed into a legitimately funny actor who also makes some damn good pop/R&B music.

In other words, don’t worry about it, you can stream JT’s upcoming “20/20 Experience” album right now and not feel like less of a man. People become pop stars because they make music both women and men can admit they straight up enjoy, and Timberlake is a legit pop star.

      Enjoy…

      1. Yes I do! It was a very shameful moment in his life. That said, he need not ever play the “fight back card”. Best to just not even acknowledge Kanye.
