The jury in the R. Kelly child pornography case has begun deliberating in Chicago.
Yesterday (June 12), prosecutors replayed the video allegedly showing the R&B singer having sex with a 13 year old.
Both R. Kelly and the alleged victim (now 23), neither of whom took the stand during the trial, deny being on the tape.
Witnesses on both sides of the argument have included the alleged victim’s family members, some of whom claim to recognize R. Kelly and the girl, while others say they did not.
Other testimonies on the defense included R. Kelly’s former assistant, and a former lover who said R. Kelly forced her to have a threesome with him and the alleged victim.
