Jurassic 5 Preps New Album

Jurassic 5 have a slew of successful underground projects and some mainstream recognition. With their new album, the crew is ready for more fans and more critical praise.

Group members were dabbling in solo efforts but decided to join each other for a new record. Underground Hip-Hop reports indicate that the crew’s new album, tentatively titled Feedback will see light in the near future.

The group has already worked with an array of performers for the disc. Collaborations for the project come from such acts and producers as Scott Storch, Salam Remi and usual suspect DJ Numark. Surprising to some, one of the collabos comes from none other than The Dave Matthew’s Band. The group is featured on the first single, Work It Out.

J5 have been doing their thing since the mid to early 90’s in Los Angeles. They’ve released several albums and have appeared on a variety of projects. Their collaborations are diverse. Group members have assisted acts including Floetry, Ozomatli, Incubus, Blackalicious, The Pharcyde and Linkin Park. The crew hopes to release Feedback in late June.
