Julio Foolio‘s murder case has seen yet another development this week, as a fourth suspect has now been apprehended just one day after the first three arrests were announced.

According to Jacksonville’s News 4, 30-year-old Rashad Murphy was taken into custody in the early hours of Tuesday (July 30), following an hours-long standoff with a SWAT team.

Police said the U.S. Marshals Service helped locate Murphy in his apartment complex, and while investigators “spent hours” trying to talk him out, eventually SWAT members “used tactics” to force him out.

Along with a charge of “No Valid Driver’s License,” Murphy faces a premeditated first-degree murder charge like the other four suspects, as well as additional charges.

Now just one more suspect, Rashad’s cousin Davion Murphy, remains free – but police say they are closing in on him and encourage the 26-year-old to turn himself in.

Earlier this week, 18-year-old Sean Gathright, 21-year-old Alicia Andrews and 21-year-old Isaiah Chance Jr. were also taken into custody for the murder. Gathright and the Murphys are accused of being the shooters, while Chance Jr. and Andrews have been named as the getaway drivers.

Footage of the shooting was also released, showing the masked gunmen firing multiple rounds at the rapper’s car in the parking lot of the Tampa Holiday Inn.

Julio Foolio was shot and killed outside of the hotel on June 23 while celebrating his 26th birthday.

Tampa Police Chief Lee Bercaw says their investigation discovered the suspects to be members of rival gang ATK – which reportedly has ties with Foolio’s longtime enemy, Yungeen Ace.

Earlier this week, Ace spoke for the first time about the murder and detailed his last conversation with Foolio.

Ace had been accused of putting a $10,000 bounty on his rival, but has denied playing a role in the murder.

In an anonymous video posted online earlier this month, a man claiming to be the killer alleged that Ace ordered the hit.

According to police, there is not an active investigation into the rapper and his possible affiliation to the murder at this time.

Julio Foolio and Yungeen Ace, as well as their respective crews KTA and ATK, had been feuding for years after Julio’s cousin was shot and killed in 2017, with Ace later hit in a retaliatory attack.
