Juelz Santana Loses 2,300-Foot Condo To Foreclosure

Juelz Santana has announced a return to rap, and recent news may show why: to pay the bills.

According to a Bossip, the Dipset veteran has lost his New Jersey condo to foreclosure. The report says that Juelz hasn’t made a mortgage payment since November 2013.

A judge issued a final foreclosure judgment on April 22, and the condo will be sold in a sheriff’s sale.

The 2,300-foot condo is in the same development that The Notorious B.I.G. lived in.

The foreclosure may be unsurprising to many Juelz fans. He was a bright spot in the all-star Diplomats roster with Cam’ron and Jim Jones in the early 2000s, and had a promising solo career. Drake gave him a name drop on Views highlight “Hype.”

But his last notable effort was 2005’s What’s the Game’s Been Missing!. Since then, his career has been a series of jumpstarts – a single with Chris Brown, a song produced by Just Blaze, a stalled Dipset reunion – but nothing that sticks. He recently said that he plans to drop “project after project,” so hopefully he can deliver.

    1. guess he wont be ashing his blunt on any rolls royce’s anymore. what happened to that car collection? should have payed off your condo first

    2. Lucky a guy by the name of Drake just gave u a shout out on his album Views ! Might as well reach out to the number 1 gunna in this game as a thank you ! We all know nobody isn’t looking or waiting on a Juelz album nobody!

    3. If he wants to get back in the game he’s got a long way to go. There’s a whole new generation of rappers and fans that don’t even know him. He’s not like Kanye West or Jay-Z who have been dropping hits for years. Santana was big back in 2005, but it’s been a while since then.

    4. idk why these rappers cant make their money, live within reason and just retire..think about most rappers over the age 40-50..most are on the decline (exceptions do include ppl like dre, eminem etc) and if you think you can make the money last until 80-90 years old

    5. this man aint release a album in over 11 years….im not suprise by this

leave it up to him its cus his studio got raided back in 08′ lol lazy ass rappers…yayo and banks aint gotta worry bout things like this because they ceo rich..dipset and d block dont know nothin bout that lol

    6. He went on MTV Cribs back in the day and had some dope shower that sprayed from all angles. I wonder if it was that house. Either way, Cam’ron dissing Jay-z while Juelz was still on Def Jam was apparently a bad idea, do we realize that yet? In case yall don’t know, that is why Juelz hasn’t released an album since I was a sophomore in high school, and am now 26. He had so much momentum, I was really pulling for him to be the next big thing. There was some DJ mashup where they had Biggie, Jay, and Juelz, and called it The Past, Present, and Future. Like, he was really expected to be huge, you don’t even understand. He was doin so much with Lil’ Wayne, Dipset had a huge buzz. I just can’t believe somebody dropped the ball that bad. He is still in his early 30s, he might be able to make something happen, but I doubt it.

    7. i thought the name of that album’s “WHAT the Game’s Been Missin”…not “WHat’s”….that wasnt even right grammatically

    8. This nigga william ketchum 3 is such a cornball. He actually refereed to juelz as baby faced smh.

    9. This is pretty disappointing. Juelz had crazy potential – From Me to U was a solid debut album. I would find it pretty surprising if he was able to return to relevance somehow.
