It appears Slaughterhouse will be taking a break from recording as a group, but each member is pushing forward with their solo albums in 2015.
While fans can anticipate Joe Budden’s All Love Lost and Crooked I’s joint effort with Statik Selektah, Statik KXNG, Joell Ortiz and !llmind are set to release their collaborative Human project July 17. The joint project marks the first time Ortiz has worked with one producer for an entire project.
As for the status of Slaughterhouse and its forthcoming Glass House LP?
“Everything is smooth,” Joell Ortiz says during an exclusive interview with HipHopDX. “We got announcements coming soon. Our album is done. When you guys get it? That remains to be seen. But it’s ready to rock and roll. We are planning for this year. Right now, my focal point is Human, and all this that has to offer to the world and this ride. But Slaughterhouse is brewing, and there’s no more recording to do. That’s a good sign for fans.
“Incredible signs,” !llmind adds.
Slaughterhouse’s last project was the 2014 mixtape House Rules. It featured production by AraabMuzik, The Heatmakerz, Harry Fraud and others.

I don’t mind a winter release but as long as it’s this year I’ll be happy.
damn i want this album
I just hope it’s better than Welcome to Our House.
To be honest, the bar is so low that it won’t be hard to achieve. (And HHDX gave it 4.5 starts. Damn.) Eminem’s probably biggest flop as an executive producer so far, any decent project that remains true to Slaughterhouse’s style could easily top it.
