Jim Jones has been promoting his signature sunglasses by seeding them to celebrities for a while now, and he just added a new one to the list: Boosie Badazz.
The glasses, a collaboration between Jim’s Vamp Life and the Vintage Frames Company, have been gifted to Fabolous, Memphis Bleek, Ja Rule, and many more. So when Jones recently ran into Boosie at an unnamed airport, there was only one thing to do.

Jones passed Boosie the glasses, noting that they would be perfect for the next time he was sitting courtside at an NBA game.

Jones has been up to more recently than self-promotion. Last month he and Jadakiss stood side-by-side with healthcare workers as they marched to the governor’s office.
Back in January, the 1199SEIU healthcare workers union called upon the governor to stop under-paying hospitals on Medicaid claims. Under the current administration, only 70 percent of all Medicaid hospital bills are paid, and the union is calling for an end to this practice.

“Over seven million New Yorkers rely on Medicaid services, the majority of whom come from Black and Latino communities. Despite the fact that Medicaid provides vital coverage to these New Yorkers, the state pays hospitals 30% less than the actual cost of needed care,” reports the union.
On Friday, March 22, the Dipset capo and the Lox MC marched in solidarity with the union to the governor’s NYC office, and hoped that their high profile would bring attention to the matter.
“Special shout out to all the #1199Healthcare workers who show up for th cause today and march to fight for whts right,” Capo wrote on his Instagram caption, with a video showing the pair marching alongside the healthcare workers.
