Jeezy Offers Up Explanation For Ex Jeannie Mai’s Abuse Claims

Jeezy has provided the courts with what he says is an explanation of claims of abuse from his estranged wife, Jeannie Mai.

TMZ obtained copies of the Church In These Streets rapper’s latest legal salvo on Friday (May 3), wherein he showed what appeared to be WhatsApp conversations between himself and the Raid the Cage co-host (whom he labeled as “Monaco’s mom” in the app).

In the conversations, Mai shares screenshots of her ovulation calendar from the Flo app, which tracks menstrual and ovulation cycles and is the preferred app for women over 40 that are trying to conceive a child.

“Welp. Tomorrow is when my eggs do what they do, so you got one job capn,” Mai writes to Jeezy.

The rapper (real name Jay Wayne Jenkins) submitted these conversations as evidence that Mai was trying to have a second baby with him, and began accusing him of abuse when he rebuffed her advances.

Mai initially claimed abuse by the Atlanta rapper in court documents filed on April 24 and obtained by HipHopDX. In her motion — which was a request for the courts to enforce a memorandum of settlement — the Raid the Cage co-host alleged that the rapper subjected her to physical abuse, and their child to neglect, during an event in December 2022.

Mai further contended that Jeezy choked her out, called her a “fucking bitch,” and claimed that he “couldn’t wait” to divorce her. She also claimed that Jeezy had a drinking problem, that his violence would escalate when he was drunk, and that he once left their daughter, Monaco, alone with an AK-47 in a Louis Vuitton bag. Finally, Mai alleged that Jeezy would also subject his eldest son, Jadarius, to the same type of abuse.

In response to Mai’s claims, Jeezy took to Instagram on April 25 to respond.

“Y’all know me,” he captioned the post, which read, “The allegations are not only false, but also deeply disturbing, especially coming from someone I loved. This malicious attempt to tarnish my character and disrupt my family is ridiculous.

He continued: “It’s disheartening to witness the deceit and manipulation at play, and at this time, my main concern is being an active father to our daughter as I continue to fight for court mandated joint custody. Rest assured, the truth will prevail through the proper legal channels.”

    1. Another rapper married to and who had kids with something other than a dark skinned black queen.

      1. Hate to break it to you, going through the same thing with my ex. Has nothing to do with the color of their skin. If she wants to manipulate the system, she will. Happens all the time.

      2. @Morning Koffee,

Nobody gives a fuck about your baby mama. We’re specifically on a hip hop site talking about hip hop shit, and one of the hottest topics the last month has been who isn’t black enough, but 99% of these dudes don’t fuck with black women. Just saying, stop being hypocrites.

      3. @Jorge,

As long as I keep your dumb ass entertained enough to read it, which is surprising you can even do so.

      4. @Silent_Partner race don’t got nuthin to do with it. Them same dark skinned queens live for the drama that’s why they got the biggest reputation for it among all races. Even if we trade Jeannie for a sista, the result would be the same if not worse.

    2. People are selfish so loyalty is rare. Stay single. Use a condom until you’re ready for kids.
