    Indie hip hop group Jedi
    Mind Tricks
is slated to drop their new album Servants in Heaven, Kings
    in Hell
, Sept. 19 on Babygrande Records.  Composed of rappers, Vinnie
    Paz
and Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind, they’ve worked with legends in
the game like Kool G. Rap, Heltah Skeltah, Rass Kass and GZA.
After 10 years in the game, the Philly duo is set to once again capture the
scene with their sometimes overtly offensive lyrics.

    The group’s fifth album,
which includes collaborations with ILL Bill, Sean Price and R.A. The
    Rugged Man,
will also feature tracks with noted indie rock artists Sufjan
    Stevens
    and vocalist Shara Worden

The first single, Heavy Metal Kings features Ill Bill of
Non Phixion and has been released on iTunes.

    The second track
    available, Razorblade Salvation ft. Ms.
    Worden
    , is a  re-interpretation of Stevens’
    earlier track, Dumb I Sound
Another song rumored to be on the album is a currently untitled track about Vietnam featuring R.A. the Rugged Man. Army of the Pharoahs leader
    Chief Kamachi
    will also be featured.

    Jedi
    Mind Tricks
    seemingly
hardcore and thrash metal anthems with political overtones may come at a time
when the message is most needed, but their style of music may need a makeover.

The group is slated to begin a North American tour Sept. 19, the same day Servants
    in Heaven, Kings in Hell
    hits stores.
