Legendary Bronx, New York native emcee/deejay/photographer/filmmaker D-Nice has signed a management deal with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. Known mostly for his work as a top deejay, the former Boogie Down Productions member released two albums with Jive Records, 1990’s Call Me D-Nice and 1991’s To Tha Rescue.
As of today, I am officially managed by Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. Time to take it to the next level.
In the years since ending his rapping, D-Nice has deejayed parties throughout the world. Additionally, his photography and films have profiled the stories and careers of peers such as Special Ed, Masta Ace and The Homeless Rapper.
In addition to its Sony Records partnership, and being home to Willow Smith, J. Cole and Sean Garrett, Roc Nation also manages Wale and now D-Nice.
