JAY-Z‘s alleged son, Rymir Satterthwaite, has upped the ante in his continued quest to prove that Hov is his father, introducing an affidavit that his mother, Wanda, signed that insisted on her son’s paternity.

The Daily Mail got its hands on the exclusive document, which Wanda signed off on before she passed away in 2019. The document contains details on the night Rymir was conceived, with Wanda swearing under penalty of perjury that the statements she was making were true and correct to the best of her knowledge.

Wanda alleged that she met the “Empire State of Mind” rapper through mutual friends and that they had sex in JAY-Z’s aunt’s apartment in Brooklyn shortly after they met. Wanda further alleged that while she and the Roc Nation mogul used protection during the act, “the protection broke,” thus resulting in Rymir’s conception.

Wanda claimed she slept with JAY-Z in 1992, four years before Reasonable Doubt would hit the streets, so she didn’t realize that the man she was allegedly sleeping with would eventually become the global icon that he is today.

“Shawn asked me to leave with him, but I told him I could not because my mother would be upset,” she wrote in the affidavit. “I never saw him again until a year later on television, but I had no idea of his real name until later and did not know how to reach him.”

Rymir has been insisting that JAY-Z is his biological father for decades, and Wanda insisted that the rapper (real name Shawn Carter) was her son’s father until the day she died.

Wanda claimed she’d been battling JAY-Z in court since at least 2012, and she was “disrespected” by his legal team.

At that time, too, their lawsuit claimed an attorney the Satterthwaites hired was “best friends and neighbors” with Jay’s lawyer, and they worked together to create procedural problems that led the case to be thrown out.

Even back then, Satterthwaite claimed that he wasn’t looking for a piece of the massive Carter fortune — rather, he just wanted the rapper to acknowledge him as his son.

“This never about money for me,” Satterthwaite previously said. “My whole thing was just to see who my father was and honestly I get my own money. I work two jobs, I take care of my own business.”

On Monday (May 8), Rymir told the Mail that his ultimate goal was to get his alleged biological father to recognize him as his son.

Satterthwaite also claimed that part of his demand includes unsealing the court documents so he can pursue the case against JAY-Z successfully.

“This is not going to be over until justice is served,” he told the outlet. “I just want to live my life and, when it is all said and done, I hope that JAY-Z would want to be a part of my life, if that is God’s will.”

He added: “I won’t stop fighting for this until I win. And I will win because the law is on our side.”

However, JAY-Z’s attorneys categorically denied Satterthwaite’s claims. “The allegations have been previously reviewed thoroughly by the courts and have been refuted,” they stated in a letter to the outlet. “I am sure that will be the outcome of whatever filings Mr. Satterthwaite may be currently considering.”
