Father-to-be Jay-Z and Kanye West took the stage at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards to perform “Otis” 
off their collaborative album Watch the Throne.
During the surprise performance, the pair showed their patriotic stripes by running through the soulful cut, keeping the stage bare save for a towering American flag and fireworks shooting off behind them.
