Jay Z and Beyonce, who’ve been married since 2008, have been the target of divorce rumors this year. Despite this, Tina Knowles, Beyonce’s mother, says nothing is wrong with their marriage.
“Haters gon’ be haters,” Knowles says in an interview with TMZ. “There’s nothing we can do about that. Everything is perfect.”
Different stories regarding divorce have been published by several outlets, but Tina Knowles says she has a solution for that.
“I just don’t even read the bull,” she says.
The couple, who recently wrapped their On The Run Tour, have also had their marriage criticized by several people this year, including Akon, who referred to their marriage as corporate.
Earlier this month, Jay Z’s alleged mistress LIV released “Sorry ‘Ms Carter’,” a song about her rumored relationship with the rapper.
This year, Beyonce and Jay Z made headlines when they appeared in surveillance hotel elevator footage. In the clip, Beyonce’s sister, Solange Knowles, assaulted the rapper. The trio released a joint statement following the publicity garnered by the video. In the statement, they say they’ve worked through the incident.
