After conflicting reports about whether or not they would attend, according to The Daily Beast, Jay Z and Beyoncé did not show up to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s wedding.
A Daily Mail report from Friday said Jay was Kanye’s best man and that he remarked to reporters the wedding is being “blown out of proportion.”
Last month, a report said that Hov would not be attending the wedding but would be renting the couple a yacht for their honeymoon. It was only recently believed that Jay Z would be in attendance.
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were wed at Fort di Belvedere, in Florence, Italy yesterday (May 24).
Rich Wilkerson Jr., a pastor from North Miami, performed the ceremony, according to People.
KimYe chose the Italian city for their wedding location because they believe they conceived their daughter, North, there.
Two hundred family and friends, including Rick Rubin, Serena Williams and Lala Anthony attended the wedding.
The couple reportedly paid $400,000 for the wedding space.
