Jadakiss has let his raspy voice ring out from the mountain tops in support of Symba, praising the Bay Area rapper for his lyrical skillset.

The “Never End Up Broke” rapper shared a video of himself and the New York rap icon embracing backstage at one of this weekend’s BET Awards events.

Despite Jadakiss being one of his biggest inspirations from a lyrical standpoint, Symba has been on a tear of his own over the past 12 months.

He recently dropped a freestyle over 2Pac’s “Keep Ya Head Up,” instrumental to honor Juneteenth and the 50th year of Hip Hop in partnership with Apple Music.

I know you fed up/ And life won’t let you keep ya leg up/ But when it all falls down my n-gga, keep ya head up/ I remember having trouble tryna’ get my bread up/ Feeling like God let me down/ But I never let up/ We made it through the struggle, bills late playing catch up/ Always had hotdogs, but couldn’t keep ketchup,” he raps over the bass heavy instrumental.

He continued: “Heating up the house with the same oven that fed us/ To broke to catch a cold and ain’t got it to get a check up/ Government assistance keep us in these conditions/ It’s hard to keep fighting a system when it’s against us/ Drug dealers ain’t no different from politicians/ Benefiting from bad conditions is common interest.

In addition, Symba also recently tapped into his philanthropic side, gifting 100 laptops to local Nigerian students during a pilgrimage to Africa in April.

The Results Take Time lyricist uploaded past footage to his Instagram Story of laptops being unwrapped by administrators at a school in the city of Lagos while the students waited patiently to receive their own device. The children also received black T-shirts with Symba’s face on them and African colors.

Symba documented various aspects of his trip since announcing on Instagram that he was “headed home” at the time.
