On August 11, a number of ’90s Rap luminaries will share the stage to celebrate Funkmaster Flex at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in Manhattan. Confirmed performers include Ja Rule, Cam’ron and Capone-N-Noreaga. In addition to those headliners, Reggae act Shaggy will perform, along with Gang Starr Foundation alumni Group Home, with DJ Premier.
Throughout the evening, Flex will deejay. The New York mixmaster is a club icon, who released a number of charting albums, and premiered countless records from his evening post at Hot97.
Additional guests are expected, but not confirmed. Tickets are $30 in advance, available at the Times Square venue’s box office.
