J. Cole and Lil Durk have shot a video for an upcoming collaboration that they’ve been teasing for some time now.

On Saturday (April 29), the Chicago rapper uploaded a set of photos on Instagram that show him and Cole World wearing smiles while amongst the people.

Durk said in the caption, “I’m sorry for the wait I’m still healing s/o my dawg Jcole #almosthealed [palm hands emoji].”

Most of the people in the comment section were excited to see the forthcoming visuals from both of the dynamic rappers.

Earlier this month, Durk teased the collaboration with Cole after performing at Dreamville Festival in North Carolina.

Prior to hitting the stage on Saturday night (April 1), the OTF honcho sat down with Rob Markman, Gia Peppers and Wayno where he revealed he was working on new music with Cole.

“I was gon’ do it anyway,” Durk said about performing at Dreamville. “I wanted to do it anyway getting to the festival world, but me and J. Cole cooking up something too. We just vibing, working, you know what I’m saying?”

Durk raised the hype around his anticipated The Voice 2.0 album, which he teased to be dropping in the near future.

The Voice 2.0,” he crowned as his favorite body of work. “Yeah, we finna drop it. You gotta keep em on they toes.”

Meanwhile, Durk recently appeared as a playable character on NBA 2K23.

His addition to the video game series’ MyTEAM mode went live on Thursday (March 9), with 2K Sports also releasing a behind-the-scenes look at the process of how the OTF rapper earned his impressive 89 overall rating.

Fans will have to complete Lil Durk’s spotlight challenge to unlock his MyTEAM player card, which will only be available for a limited time.

J. Cole was also unveiled as the cover star for the DREAMER Edition of NBA 2K23 last year, becoming the first rapper to grace the cover of the popular video game franchise.
