In what’s been an on-going feud between Miami rapper Rick Ross [click to read] and New York emcee 50 Cent [click to read], the Boss recently claimed he’s won the battle based off of his 2009 endeavors.
Discussing his successful year, including a Billboard chart-topping album in Deeper Than Rap [click to read], Rick Ross compared his “victory” to a biblical scripture. “After you crush such a huge donkey, you have to reap the benefits of going to war. Just like when David beat Goliath, I’m pretty sure when he went back to town the ladies had bread and wine and he fornicated and it was just the best life,” he told RealTalkNY.com.
Not leaving out 50’s crew members, Ross continued, “R.I.P. Let’s have a moment of silence, it’s only right. Let’s bow our head for Lloyd Banks…I pray my career don’t be like Lloyd Banks.”
Turning his words toward Floyd Mayweather, who’s been affiliated with 50 Cent for some time, Ross jokingly stated, “It’s just like dealing with one of your women, and she might have heard you say something over the phone that bothered her and she waited three months to bring it back up to you. So you know she said some things to get my attention and she got it.”

Referring to Floyd as “Mrs. Mayweather, Ross added, “I straightened her out, and now she’s back humble, and that’s what I like. I love when a woman stays in a woman’s place.”
