BET and concert promoters Live Nation have teamed up to create a handful of U.S. concert series’, with their first collaboration being the 106 & Park Tour.

Co-headlined by R&B acts Trey Songz and Mario, the 106 & Park Tour will take place in several House of Blues venues owned by Live Nation. Other expected acts include Day 26 [click to read] and singer/songwriter Sean Garrett.

Michael Yerke, House of Blues president of talent, explained, “BET is a brand that is highly respected by artists and music fans alike and they wield considerable marketing power in major markets across the U.S.” Adding Yerke, “Together we hope to expand the roster of national tours playing Live Nation‘s national network of clubs and theaters.”

In other news, rapper Kid Sister [click to read] will be touring this fall in support of her debut album, Ultraviolet, due out November 17.

The ten-date schedule begins in Vancouver, BC on October 19, as Sister will touch down in other cities such as San Francisco (Oct. 22), Los Angeles (Oct. 24), and her hometown of Chicago (Nov. 25). Deejay duo and close collaborators Flosstradamus will tag along for the first-half leg of the tour. Kid Sister is known best for her record “Pro Nails,” featuring Kanye West. Most recently, Sister released the latest single off Ultraviolet, “Right Hand Hi.”
