After dressing up as Osma Bin Laden in his video “Without Me”, Eminem had reportedly been receiving death threats from members of the Al- Queda camp. Reports of the alleged death threat being with an Englad tabloid paper NME.com but spread to American radio and television, said that Eminem had been receiving information that Al-Queda members were watching him and were highly upset with the video.
It was also reported that he had beefed up his security around himself and his daughter. Eminem’s publicist has responded to the rumors with a statement, “Contrary to a fallacy reported in a British tabloid newspaper, there have been no threats made against Eminem. Any earlier reports of such are untrue, irresponsible, and inflammatory.”
The story has been since been taken down from the website. Eminem’s third album “The Eminem Show” has still held its spot as number one on the billboard charts with sales over 1.3 million dollars since its release on May26th. Eminem can also be seen in his first feature film “8 Mile” featuring Xzibit and Kim Basinger and the Anger Management tour with Ludacris, Xzibit, D-12 and Obie Trice(Eminem’s new artists) and the X-Executioners.
