While Del The Funkee Homosapien [click to read] has long advocated drug experimentation on his various releases, do not expect the Hieroglyphics overseer to ever endorse driving drunk. Yesterday, while traveling from Colorado Springs to Denver, the Bay Area veteran’s tour bus was struck by a drunk driver on Interstate 25.
According to initial reports, no one was seriously injured. Del and one other member of his road team suffered whiplash from the accident. The emcee subsequently canceled the evening show at Larimer Lounge. The date will reportedly be rescheduled to November.
Next month, Del will join New Jersey veteran emcee, and Artifacts alum Tame One [click to read] in Parallel Uni-Verses, scheduled to be released October 13 on Gold Dust Media.
