Kansas City emcee Mac Lethal is most known for his 2007 album 11:11 [click to read] with Rhymesayers Entertainment. In the time since, the Black Clover Records founder has been talking about a lot of Pop culture in his verses. With songs such as “At Least There’s Twitter” [click to read] hitting the ‘net earlier this year, Mac has now turned on, what pop culture calls “bros.” Inspired by “Lookin’ Bro” pokes fun at stereo-typical popped-collar types with its lyrics and self-edited video.
“I find these types of dudes to be absolutely repulsive, and hysterical. I still watch this video, and am in disbelief that people leave the house looking like this. So I had to get ’em,” Mac Lethal told HipHopDX. Of the video he edited, he added, “I threw Asher [Roth] in the mix because I’m an asshole.“
Mac Lethal‘s next album Love Potion 5 hits stores September 29. The album features Evidence and Devin The Dude. It will be released through Black Clover.
