MURS Possibly Dropped From Warner Brothers

    According to Shabooty.com, a music and entertainment blog, rapper MURS [click to read] has possibly been dropped from his label Warner Bros Music Group.

    Deemed exclusive, the website claims that a reliable source has revealed that MURS [click to read] was dropped from Warner Brothers, but neither MURS or his manager have responded to the claims.

    Before signing to Warner Brothers, the Living Legends member was an artist on Definitive Jux, home to artists such as El-P, Aesop Rock, Mr. Lif, and more.

    Roughly a year ago on September 30, 2008 MURS released MURS For President [click to read], the album was MURS’ first on Warner Bros. The album featured appearances from will.i.am and Snoop Dogg along with production from 9th Wonder and more.

    In recent years Warner has severed ties with artists including Lil Flip, Lil Scrappy and most recently Wiz Khalifa.

    MURS is currently on tour and will be making stops in Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Dallas, Raleigh, and Albuquerque later this month.
