Adam Goldstein was found dead on Friday August 28, in his New York apartment. Details have not been released as of yet but the New York Post [click here] is reporting that drug paraphernalia was found near the body and that police are still investigating on whether his death was the result of an overdose. He was 36 years old.
Goldstein, better known as DJ AM, was in the news recently after he and collaborator Travis Barker survived a plane crash in South Carolina [click here].
According to E!, Goldstein recently filmed a series for MTV where he speaks on his addiction issues [click here].
On Tuesday, August 25, Goldstein hit his Twitter account [click here] to say “”New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york aint always what it seems,” using the old rap line to leave what would be his final posting.
