Although super-group Slaughterhouse will be releasing their debut album on August 11, Slaughterhouse[click to read] member Joe Budden[click to read] will also be releasing a solo project that same day.
Entitled Escape Route, the digital-only album, is a prelude to Joe Budden’s next solo album The Great Escape.
“Escape Route is a precursor to what may very well be the best Joe Budden album ever… The Great Escape,” said Joe Budden in a statement. “It’s filled with the lyricism and passion that Joe Budden fans have come to love me for….‘THE GREAT ESCAPE’ coming soon!”
Taking a turn from his early Just-Blaze produced solo tracks, Joe Budden’s album will include production from 9th Wonder, Streetrunner, Chad West, and J. Cardim.
Just Blaze was one of the producer’s on Joe Budden’s first solo album, Joe Budden. Just Blaze[click to read] has also gone on to produce several Joe Budden tracks and even helped mediate the feud between Joe Budden and rapper Saigon.
