The effort beat out #2 Daughtry by a margin of over 35,000. Maxwell’s Black Summer’s Night remained at #3 in its third week, still scanning making its motions towards platinum.
The Black Eyed Peas popped back into the Top 5 for the first time with The E.N.D. [click to read]. After a month on charts, the smash album appears as though it’s on its way to platinum before school’s in. Eminem‘s Relapse [click to read] fell to #13. The Aftermath effort is still promised to be the first, as 50 Cent‘s Before I Self Destruct and Dr. Dre‘s Detox are on deck respectively.
Jeremih closed out the Top 25 with his surprise, self-titled seller, backed by “Birthday Sex.”
