Two of the Slaughterhouse rappers, Crooked I [click to read] and Joe Budden [click to read], have pushed back the releases of their own individual projects.
Crooked I’s Mr. Pig Face Weapon Waist EP was originally scheduled for an August 18 release, however, the project will now hit stores in September. The first single off the EP will be “Guess Who’s Back,” featuring Snoop Dogg [click to read] and produced by Scram Jones. At press time, no official track listing has been released for Mr. Pig Face Weapon Waist besides the first single. The Southern California emcee also is expected to release a collaborative album with King Tech entitled Group Therapy later this year [click to read].
In other news, Joe Budden’s Escape Route will now be a full length digital release rather than an EP. However, according to Amalgam Digital, Budden has yet to turn in the project for final mixing and mastering, leaving the release date at TBA. Escape Route is the precursor to The Great Escape, which is Budden’s second official album through Amalgam.
Slaughterhouse’s self-titled album will be released August 11.
