Dipset co-founder Cam’ron [click to read] will expand his entrepreneurial reach with a new company named U.N., which will house a subdivision for artists known as Dipset West.                                                                                                                               

The initial roster for Dipset West includes Vado, Fly Boyz, Begetz, Charlie Clipse, Young Hustle, and Byrd Lady. Each member of the new team will be featured on Cam’ron’s upcoming Gangsta Grillz Mixtape with DJ Drama, and according to Killa Cam, Vado’s project will drop immediately afterward. “Vado got the streets on smash, and in Harlem, he’s got an unbelievable buzz. Everybody in Harlem already knows what it is.”                                                                                                                                                                                

Cam’ron
has also elected Omar “Iceman” Sharif as CEO and co-owner of U.N.Sharif, who has worked his way up the music and film industry ladder, will handle the music, DVD, and film division for the new company. As Cam’ron explained, “His experience is exactly what we need to make strategic connections at the next level.”                                                                                                                     

Turning his interests to movies, Cam stated the company has plans to produce a handful, including Killa Season 2. “We got a movie coming out called The Bakery and then we’ll drop the second installment of Killa Season. We’re also discussing the release of The Guy Fischer. bio-pic.”                                                                                                                                                                                    

Clearly satisfied with the future of his company, Cam’ron concluded, “When we started Dipset, it was more than just a crew, it was a movement. The U.N. is a continuation of that movement.”

In other news, rapper Saigon will release his much-anticipated mixtape, Warning Shots 2, on September 29 via Amalgam Digital.            
Warning Shots 2 will include production from Just Blaze, as well as Saigon himself, who produced the first single entitled “For Some Pussy.” Features for the project include O.J. Da Juiceman, Lil Fame, and G. Soul, among others.                                                         

This will be Saigon’s second digital/physical release with Amalgam, as his collaborative album with Statik Selektah [click to read], All In A Day’s Work [click to read], came out this past March. Excited to release his mixtape, Saigon stated, “I’m enjoying my experience with Amalgam Digital and being creative to give music to my fans without all the bullshit. It’s a new way of thinking and it feels good to partner with an innovative company that’s ahead of its curve. I’m excited to get this album out!”
