The Clipse treated select media outlets to a sneak peek of their highly anticipated upcoming album Till The Casket Drops yesterday, according to XXLmag.com [click here]. The album will feature appearances by Cam’ron, Drake, Freeway and Keri Hilson.

Other tracks were also previewed, including “I’m Good (Remix),” backed by Rick Ross, and Ross‘ own “Maybach Music (Remix).” The remixed version [click to listen] will feature verses from Drake, Fabolous, and of course, Clipse.

Anticipation for Till The Casket Drops increased after Malice and Pusha T announced in Februrary that Rick Rubin would have a hand in the project [click to read]. Other producers associated with the album include The Neptunes (who will guide most of the production work) Sean C & LV, as well as DJ Khalil, who produced “Kinda Like A Big Deal,” featuring Kanye West.

The album was set for release in the late summer, but has been pushed back to October 20.

While the Clipse have struggled to release their album in time for the summer, Ryan Leslie [click to read] will be releasing his second CD in a year. Just eight months after dropping his highly reviewed self-titled debut [click to read], he is prepping for an October release of his sophomore effort, Transition.

The LP’s first single, “You’re Not My Girl,” will feature Pusha T of the Clipse, and will be available on iTunes on July 28. The album will be in stores on October 13.

While the Clipse struggle to put out Till the Casket Drops, Ryan Leslie is gearing up for his second album release in one year.
