The ongoing trend of celebrities starring in their own reality shows can’t exactly be called unique or original. Gotti’s Way, Snoop Dogg’s Fatherhood, and Coolio’s Rules are just a few examples of Hip Hop’s presence in the realm of reality television. Now added to the long list of reality stars will be music producer Scott Storch. The hitmaker has reportedly signed a deal with Real World and Road Rules creators Bunim/Murray to star in his own reality show, which will give an inside look at his personal life.
Executive Producer David Weintraub said, “This is a monumental moment to see a producer of his caliber let the cameras into his world and see how hit records are made. A lot of people have tried to get Scott to open up the curtain to this process but have never been successful.”
Although Scott Storch has been a large influence in the music industry (he’s produced hits for Eminem, T.I., Lil Wayne, and Chris Brown among many others), his personal life has also been the subject of gossip and headline news. The show will follow Storch as he encounters legal problems, financial troubles [click to read], and issues with drugs [click to read].
The show is confirmed to be filmed at his Miami residence, but no date or network has been validated.
