Twitter has again started a swirl of news controversy. At an afterparty for the MuchMusic Video Awards, held in Toronto, the front-man from the Black Eyed Peas [click to read] and blog kingpin Perez Hilton came to a clash. The incident took place at The SoHo Metropolitain Hotel.
While it is confirmed that Hilton was a presenter and the Los Angeles-based Hip Hop/Pop group was performing, Twitter reported that will.i.am and entourage assaulted the blog celebrity.
Hilton’s Twitter sent two blasts, “I’m in shock. I need the police ASAP. Please come to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel now. Please.” and “I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.” Both posts were made between three and four am this morning (June 22).
The Black Eyed Peas‘ rapper and producer vehemently denied reports, texting fellow Hollywood personality Tila Tequila, “What the hell would I be doing sockin’ Parez [sic] Hilton?”

will.i.am has confirmed an altercation with Perez, through a video post made in the night. The incident started, according to will, when he approached the blogger “with respect” and was called a “faggot.” The producer for Nas, The Game and Common also stated that he felt Hilton was seeking attention and publicity, instead of being “concerned with his health.”
The party was reportedly shut down soon after for unrelated reasons by Canadian police.
The two have now been fighting on Twitter with will.i.am (@IAMTheRealWill) claiming, “Perez Hilton is a liar” and the blogger (@PEREZHILTON) responding directly to will, “There are multiple witnesses. You can deny all you want. The truth is the truth and I am telling the truth.“
