As one of summer’s most celebrated tours, Rock The Bells 2009 Festival features some of the best artists Hip Hop has to offer. While their initial line-up was announced earlier this month [click to read], promoters Guerilla Union have been adding acts [click to read] in the last couple weeks to build buzz for their national tour.
Yesterday was no different, as New York veterans Busta Rhymes and GZA, along with New Orleans upstarts The Knux were added to a line-up that already includes over 30 other artists. The addition of GZA brings the count of Wu-Tang Clan members to three, while Busta’s presence at RTB will be made at select cities.
Along with the newly added acts, Guerilla Union has also confirmed dates and venues for Rock the Bells (listed below). The 10-date tour will begin in Chicago, Illinois on June 27th, and make its way across the country with a finale in San Francisco on August 9th at the Shoreline Amphitheatre. Tickets for Rock the Bells go on sale this Saturday (May 2nd).
