Raekwon has been having fans on the edge of their seats awaiting the release of Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2. Now, he says the wait is over, adding that a development has made it easier to release his highly anticipated LP. With a new major label record deal, Rae claims to be set to drop a classic.

Adding that the time has given him an opportunity to strengthen the project, Rae claimed to have a classic in the bag.

It’s been a long time coming,” he said of the long wait between albums, “and I’ve put my blood, sweat and tears into making this classic album for my fans.”

Many big named producers are scheduled to appear behind the boards for the album. The RZA, Dr. Dre, and J Dilla, are all set to be behind the instrumentals, while he will get help on the mic from members of the Wu-Tang Clan, Jadakiss, Busta Rhymes, Bun B and The Game.

Raekwon is also going to be at this year’s Rock the Bells Festival, which will also feature Nas and Damian Marley as Distant Relatives.
