Although Atlanta rapper T.I. [click to read] is only weeks away from serving his year and a day sentence, he already has plans on putting out more music before his sentence begins.

According to T.I. and Grand Hustle producer Lil C, T.I.’s Paper Trail [click to read] will be re-released some time in the near future.

“He got a lot of hot records,”Lil C explained to SOHH.com“He got a whole ’nother album put together. I’m not gonna spill the milk but it’s another return of The King. I don’t want to bust nobody’s bubble but it’s definitely gon’ be something that you would want to go out and purchase. You don’t want to miss no songs on the album.”

News of the re-release was first revealed to HipHopDX by producer Rob Knox late last year [click to read].

The re-release of Paper Trail is expected to include five pre-recorded tracks that were not included on the original release. Potential tracks to be included on the re-release include “Like I Do” featuring The-Dream and “My Dear” featuring Ciara.

“I’m still in the process of picking the songs,”T.I. told MTV. “But I’m also still recording. I’m able to record any time—through the best of times and through the worst of times, I’m still able to record. It may change the sort of song you do, but you never can tell. You never know until that moment gets there.”

Released on September 30, 2008 Paper Trail went on to sell over 500,000 copies in its first week. Paper Trail was also a runner-up for HipHopDX’s 2008 Album of the Year [click to read].

There is still no word yet on when Paper Trail will be re-released.
