TV and radio host Ralph McDaniels, also known as “Uncle Ralph,” has always had a knack for Hip Hop entrepreneurialism. Starting in the early ‘80’s as an aspiring deejay, McDaniels has since become an influential character in New York through his time with Hot 97, creating the Video Music Box show, and co-founding onfumes.com.
The latter two projects, which McDaniels has since combined as an online component to give music cravers the best rap acts the underground has to offer, will now feature a new live show every Sunday at 5:00 pm EST. Viewers can tune in to watch and listen to Uncle Ralph’s radio show in real time. More details on Video Music Box Online are available at onfumes.com.

Discussing the praise he receives on a daily basis from people young and old on the documentary, Kane states, “I think it’s beautiful because it [shows] music going through generations.” Continuing, he adds, “I think stuff like that is very important because when music goes on, you introduce it to the younger generation and make them aware of where it came from, so we don’t lost our heritage; we don’t lose what we created.”
