All around entertainer, Nick Cannon is heading back to his television roots, as he reconnects with Nickelodeon as Honorary Chair and Development Consultant for TEENick, a Nickelodeon sister station.
Cannon inked a two-year deal with the station that will start immediately and place him on screen and behind the desk as the TEENick station evolves. Cannon, who was selected for his experience and creativity on-air and behind the scenes, will be working on broadening the range for the TEENick audience.
Cannon said he is happy to link up with his old employer.
“I started my career here at Nickelodeon and am so excited to be back, serving as an integral part of TEENick as the in-house voice and representative for teens everywhere,”Cannon explained. “TEENick is their network and I am here to make sure this is an ultimate destination for and about them.”

TEENick’s Halo Awards will be hosted and produced by Cannon as the station gears up to premier in September of 2009.
