OG Ron C was the victim of an alleged assault at the hands of night club security at the Toc bar in Houston, according to Keep It Trill.

The publication reports that the GO DJs president suffered multiple injuries after being tased by club security. One reported injury included burn marks across the Adam’s apple.

While some incidents of excessive force go unreported, neither OG Ron C nor the people close to him plan to let this incident die. Industry publicist Nancy Byron issued a statement with a synopsis of the events that led up to the encounter.

“Last night, Ronald Cole, known throughout the entertainment industry as OG Ron C, President of the GO DJ Coalition and respected business man, was roughed up, tasered unconscious, and dumped on the floor of Houston nightclub Toc Bar after a strictly verbal conversation pertaining to security’s treatment of one of his friends,” she says. Ron C was not drunk (he is not a drinker and had nothing to drink last night) and offered up no resistance whatever [sic] after being put in a chokehold from behind. He was then rendered unconscious with a taser gun to the throat and left on the ground to be robbed or die or who knows what.”

As of press time, OG Ron C had filed a police report regarding the incident.

Byron also states that this is another incident in a string of occurrences involving excessive force between night club security and club patrons in the Houston area.

“I have personally witnessed the unnecessary tasing of people who were offering up little or no resistance, in clubs where people had to go through metal detectors, as well as get personally patted down to enter – meaning they were clearly unarmed,”Byron adds. “Someone is going to get seriously hurt, or killed, if this is not addressed. Some of these guys are not even licensed to carry weapons and the club owners should be held accountable.”
