Sean “Diddy” Combs will continue his foray into reality television next January, when the music mogul joins with Mark Burnett, executive producer of Survivor and The Apprentice, for the reality talent show Starmaker. Much like he did with the Making the Band series, Combs will search for aspiring solo performers. Individual performers selected will be housed together in a coed environment featuring male and female performers.
Combs‘ executive producer credit on Starmaker will bring the Bad Boy and Sean John founder’s total of reality shows to four. He currently serves as the executive producer of the MTV series Making The Band, Run’s House and the VH1 series I Want to Work For Diddy.
“I know that doesn’t seem too original,” says Combs via his video blog. “But you’ll see the originality that we will inject in it. It’s a privilege to partner with Mark Burnett on my latest television venture. He is one of the industry’s best.”
