T.I.’s album (due September 30th) may not be the only paper trail he is making this month.
According to Atlanta’s Fort Mill Times, T.I.’s ex-girlfriend and mother of two of his children will be taking him to court on the matter of child support payments. Lashon Dixon, 29, has stated that the current funds received are not enough to support her 7 and 8 year old sons, which is based around $2,000 a month.
With the court order, Dixon wants a monthly stipend that is proportional to T.I.’s successful wealth. T.I. (real name Clifford Harris) and Dixon have allegedly known each other since childhood, and subsequently had a romantic relationship before T.I.’s rise in the rap world.
Along with Dixon’s boys, T.I. also shares two sons with current fiance and former R&B singer of the group XscapeTameka “Tiny” Cottle.
T.I.’s camp was not available upon press time to comment on the situation.
