PnB Rock‘s younger brother, who goes by PnB Meen, has broken his silence on the Philly rapper’s murder.
On Wednesday (September 14), PnB Meen shared an Instagram photo of both Rock and himself as little kids. “You was the only one who believed I can do what you do,” he captioned his post. “I can’t stop crying bro why u ain’t have me with you. PnB Rock was eating lunch with his girlfriend and mother of his two daughters, Stephanie Sibounheuang, at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in South Los Angeles on September 12 when he was fatally shot. His death sparked a cascade of condolences on social media from everyone from famed EDM producer/DJ Steve Aoki to Ice-T.
“Always be a legend,” Aoki wrote. “We love u and miss u king. U will always be in our hearts and minds. An absolutely compassionate kind human being. Rest in power king.”

Meanwhile, Run-DMC legend Darryl “DMC” McDaniels is using PnB Rock’s tragic passing as a teachable moment. On September 13, Run-DMC tweeted a nearly 10-minute video of the Hip Hop legend discussing what he feels needs to change.
“We need a 17- to 19-year-old individual to make ‘The Message’ to shut down all the nonsense that we’re celebrating — drinking lean and this and that,” he said. “You can get high, you can go to the party, but what about making sure everybody’s eating? That’s what Hip Hop did.
