50 Cent‘s former Sire Spirits Brand Manager has reportedly been embezzling millions from the rapper’s company, and he’s now been told he has to pay it all back.

Manhattan Federal Court records obtained by The New York Post claimed Mitchell Green, the Brand Management director at Le Chemin du Roi champagne, had been “embezzling” upwards of $2 million from the company until he was caught in 2020.

The champagne company, which translates to “The King’s Path,” was created in 2019 through 50 Cent’s brand Sire Spirits.

While the champagne already costs over $150 a bottle, Green had reportedly been inflating the prices and pocketing extra kickbacks from wholesalers that he claimed were “agency fees,” court documents show.

The documents also show Green only confessed to the scheme in February 2020 after an outside party began extorting him and threatened to expose him.

Sire Spirits fired him and took him to arbitration, where an arbitrator found him liable for all the money he stole, along with another $948,096 he paid to a wholesaler. The arbitrator additionally ordered that Green pay $2.7 million in attorney fees and other costs, bringing his grand total owed up to $6.2 million.

A Manhattan judge confirmed the arbitrator’s decision in June.

Sire Spirits has been one of 50 Cent’s most profitable business ventures. In July, the G-Unit head honcho inked a multi-year partnership deal with the Sacramento Kings. 50’s champagne will now be the presenting beverage sponsor of Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center, and the arena’s “Rush by Sire Spirits” club will feature a new 500-bottle Le Chemin du Roi Champagne Wall.

Back in March, Fiddy also signed a multi-year partnership with the Houston Rockets. Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi Champagne will now be featured throughout the Toyota Center via Sire Spirits-themed bars, a court-side section, a private suite (which will belong to the rapper), and a restaurant.
