Nipsey Hussle’s estate has been putting in a lot of work to open his very first cannabis dispensary, The Marathon Collective, and fans can hit up the store now that it’s officially open.
On Saturday (June 18), the late rapper’s estate held a grand opening event for The Marathon Collective in Los Angeles, California. Footage of the event showed fans celebrating with Hussle’s family and friends as they held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the store officially.

The store is the premiere shop to purchase Nipsey’s Marathon OG strain and cannabis products. The store was a long time coming for the estate, which family and friends spoke about in The Marathon Cultivation documentary that dropped last month.

The 35-minute documentary dives into Nip and his brother Blacc Sam’s difficult journey to get their strain in dispensaries. The film used archival footage and actual interviews with people who witnessed the early beginnings of The Marathon Collective.

“We’ve been in the marijuana business for a minute, illegally,” Blacc Sam said at a screening last month. “We always had our eyes on a legit license and we wanted to put together something that explains the journey.”
