Juelz Santana is getting back to the swing of things with new music on the way, but the Dipset member has his sights set on another type of bag. On Wednesday (June 8), Juelz took to his Instagram with a post of him showing off his acting chops in hopes of landing a TV or movie role.

To show off his skills, the Harlem rap star channeled Damson Idris’s iconic scene from Snowfall where his character Franklin Saint berates his right-hand man Leon for complaining. The scene has been widely shared on social media and considered by many as one of Damson’s breakout scenes in the popular show.

“I built this shit n-gga,” Juelz said while in character. “Me, brick by brick, and I’ll be damned if I let you tear it down cause you don’t like the way another muthafucker talk. Drive n-gga!”

Juelz continued in the caption of his post by writing, “Somebody Give That Boy Movie Script ASAP Or Jus Buy the 1 I Wrote N Let Me Star In It… #OffPapers #BackOutSide.”

Juelz gave a decent attempt on the scene and may want to find his way onto Snowfall‘s upcoming season six, which also happens to be the last. That may be a stretch but at least there’s hope in that alleged script Juelz Santana revealed he wrote in his post.

Juelz isn’t the only person in the Dipset crew who thought about jumping into the TV/Film space. Cam’ron already did that when he starred in the 2002 cult classic Paid In Full and even launched his own movie Killa Season in 2006.

There were also talks about a film being made about the legendary Diplomats crew, but as Cam explained during the 20th-anniversary celebration of his third studio album, Come Home With Me, these movie studios weren’t trying to work with him or his team.

“So like they offered us deals before or offered me deals as well. I rather shoot it with my money, my way,” Cam said during the Q&A talk with media personality Wayno. “Like they’ll come to you like ‘Yo, we’ll give you a percentage of the Diplomat movie,’ and I’m like ‘Ok, what’s the percentage,’ and you know they’re like ‘We’ll give you 10 15 percent.'”

Cam’ron added, “How you going to give me 10 percent of my story? That shit don’t even be making no sense to me sometimes. I’m like, ‘Aight, I’ll fund it, and y’all take the 10 percent and do distribution,’ but they’re not used to n-ggas talking to them like that.”
